West Virginia University is one of the nation’s top 10 “Best Employers for Workers Over 50” for the second straight time in AARP’s biennial rankings. The University was ranked seventh overall.

Employee Benefits is where employee health and welfare, retirement, years of service and leave benefits are managed.
Medical Management administers and coordinates WVU medical leave programs, such as, Medical Leaves of Absence, Catastrophic Leave, Family Medical Leave Act, Parental Leave, and Worker’s Compensation.
Employee Wellness is a program that encourages all employees to manage one’s well-being every day and offers multiple resources to enhance the health and wellness of the employees.

The Benefits Administration team is a service-oriented team offering consultation and support to WVU employees. The team works with benefits-eligible employees to achieve the optimum balance to best fit employees needs and the needs of their families, whether it is a new employee signing up for benefits, an employee experiencing a life event, or an employee preparing for retirement.
